Restoring Wholeness and Flourishing—One Story at a Time

Mind + Body + Soul

We bring what we know about trauma and Christian spiritual formation to everything we do, from healing for wounded wanderers to guidance for curious clinicians and faith leaders.

Hi, I’m Colleen.

As human beings, we all deserve to feel safe, understood, and supported. These aren’t just ideals; they are foundational to who I am and how I approach this work.

Life’s struggles can feel heavy, but having curiosity, kindness, and compassion for ourselves can help lighten the load. As Mother Teresa said, “Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.

Instead of shaming yourself or dealing harshly with your struggles, I want to invite you to a space that’s gentle. You don’t have to walk this journey alone. Healing is meant to happen in the presence of a compassionate and supportive witness.

Drawing from both trauma-informed care and Christian spiritual formation, I integrate faith and evidence-based practice to offer the kind of presence and guidance I once longed for—now made available to you.

Whether you're an individual seeking healing or a clinician or faith leader eager to grow, my hope is to contribute to the larger story of restoration, renewal, and wholeness. You are welcome here.

A Journey Toward Wholeness and Healing for Wounded Individuals, Growing Clinicians, and Curious Faith Leaders

Work With Us

Individuals

Individuals who've experienced trauma or other wounding often come to us seeking a balanced and holistic approach to their healing: trauma-informed and spiritually sensitive. We offer therapy, therapy intensives, and soul care for women, men, and faith leaders.

Clinicians

Mental health clinicians come to us to grow their skills in therapy and trauma-informed care, especially with those who’ve experienced spiritual trauma and domestic abuse. We offer case consultation, speaking events, internships, and license supervision for clinicians at every level of expertise.

Faith Leaders

Faith leaders want to be places of refuge for those impacted by trauma, but often feel unsure how to navigate the nuances of trauma-informed care and biblical integrity. We cultivate safe spaces for leaders who come to us to be inspired, learn, and grow through case consultation and speaking events.

The Embodiment of a ‘Wounded Healer’

“Colleen is authentic, vulnerable, approachable, biblically sound, and wise - a rare combination in today’s Christian world. I’ve always admired how she navigates her professional role as a wise counselor and her personal struggles with her own painful experiences. She embodies Henri Nouwen’s words, ‘wounded healer,’ well.”

Just off the Press

Beginning in 2025, I’m co-hosting “Worthy: Celebrating the Value of Women,” a Christian podcast with bestselling author Elyse Fitzpatrick!

Listen in each week as we celebrate the value of women in the church, home, and society. Our conversations are diverse, respectful, and talk about the hard things while providing hope and encouragement.

You’ll hear from guests like Diane Langberg, Aimee Byrd, Jen Wilkin, Beth Moore, Sheila Gregoire, and men like Chris Moles as we advocate for women’s flourishing.

Owning our story can be hard, but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.”
